Computer System Analyst Responsibilities Review computer system capabilities, workflow and scheduling limitation; analyze user requirements, current operational procedures and identify problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system; study existing information processing system to evaluate effectiveness and develop new information systems to meet current and projected needs. Requirements MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering, CS or related.
Windows Software Engineer This is a rare startup opportunity for an highly motivated individual who is interested in programming, who has a sharp mind, and the ability to work in a team. Responsibilities Participate in design and implementation of Windows software architecture for testing equipment, medical and consumer electronics products from concept to production; design, develop and debug software products and testing tools in Windows environment. Communicate with local US customers. Facilitate cross team collaboration. Interact with our China development team and local customers. Skills in engineering documentation are essential. Qualifications The candidate must have BS CS (MS preferred) and 2+ years of hands-on working experience in .NET environment. Must be fluent in C, C++, C#, XML, COM, MFC, VB, COM, DCOM, ATL, ActiveX and MFC. The candidate must have extensively used Microsoft Visual Studio and be familiar with bug tracking systems and version control tools such as SourceSafe. Preferred Skills The candidate also should have skill and knowledge about signal processing, DSP,measurement theory and real-time systems. Programming experience for device drivers would be a plus. DSP Software Engineer Responsibilities The engineer will participate in design and implementation of DSP software architecture for testing equipment, medical and consumer electronics products from concept to production; design, develop and debug software products and testing tools in Windows environment. The engineer will assist the hardware engineer debug, test and verify the functions of hardware devices. Skills Required Processor: Must have programmed TMS320C6xxx Signal Analysis and Design Techniques: fixed-point scaling and overflow analyses, FIR/IIR filters, FFTs, spectral analysis. Programming Languages: C++, C, Texas Instruments C Compilers for TMS320C6xxx Software Development and Simulation Tools: TI Code Composer Studio (CCS) 3.1, MATLAB, JTAG emulator/simulator/debugger for TMS320C6xxx, Platforms/operating systems: TI DSP/BIOS, MS Windows Minimum Qualifications Initially this will be a part-time position. The engineer will spend about 20 hours per week on assigned tasks. In about 3 months, this position will convert to full-time. The candidate must have BS EE (MS preferred) and 3+ years of working experience in TI DSP environment. |
